| Posted: | | | | I am using the original iPad with the just released update of iOS. I just purchased the iPad version of DVD Proflier last night. I added four movies to my default profile, the info was found online and added without incedent.
I created a second profile to catalog my adult films. I attempted to add two titles, neither of which were found, so I attempted to add them manually. The first added ok. However, when attempting to add the second, I decided to not add the bar code, since it was only for my personal collection, and I thought it a waste of time typing all those numbers for each title. So I checked the "not UPC" (I think thats what it's called).
I added a second title, but after I finished none of the info I had entered for that title would display. I re-entered the info several times, with the same results. I attempted to delete the second title, but the app would not let me. I ended up deleting the profile.
I then created a new profile, and added a new title, manually.
This time, upon adding the second title, the first title was replaced, not including my note for the first title! When I re-entered the first title, the second title was replaced. IOW, it would only accept one title. I then started entering the UPC's, and it finally let me add more than one title. At this point, I stopped as it was getting late.
Is this a typical issue when not adding UPC's? Also, why does the app not allow me to set a rating? It puts "Not Rated" and there is no way to change it. Is Steve to blame? |
