| Posted: | | | | This is a great looking program, but I'm not sure it will fit my needs. Is the database populated only with DVDs released by American distribution companies? I am a big Bollywood and foreign film fan. There are many Bollywood films available now from Indian distributors (UTV, Shemaroo, ADLabs, etc.) with English subtitles encoded in NTSC with all-region (region 9?) access. None of the ones I tried are in the database. These are all mainstream Hindi language films that have entries in IMDB. Thanks for your feedback. |

But depending on where you live there should be plenty of Bollywood movies already in the DB.
If they are not in the Indian locality, try the "Search by title" and find them in other localities and then change UPC and locality via the DVD menu. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

Can you name some decent (and reliable) websites that sell Bollywood blu-rays (reasonably priced) to the US? Bollywood is one of the few blind spots in my collection and I would like to add more, preferably in high-def. |

| Posted: | | | | I have not gone the Blu-ray route yet partially because there are very few Bollywood movies available on Blu-ray here in the U.S. I live in the state of New Mexico which was the location for part of Kites. Some of my favorite Bollywood/Hindi titles: Udaan, Kaminey, Luck By Chance, Fashion, Chak de India, Dor, Rangeela, Satya, Kabul Express, Gangster: A Love Story, Manorama and Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi I'm a big fan of Kareena Kapoor. Some of my favorites that she has been featured in are Jab We Met, Omkara, Kurbaan, Chameli, and Tashan. I have found reviewgang to be a good source for ratings and reviews of recent films. Although I am not always in 100% agreement with their ratings. |

Bollywood is one of the few blind spots in my collection and I would like to add more, preferably in high-def. I have purchased them from Induna (located in India, but cheapest), Nehaflix (ships from US, but limited selection), or Eros (ships from US, limited to Eros releases only). One thing to keep in mind about Indian Blu-rays is that there are almost always 2 different releases (International and local). Depending on the movie, one may be superior to the other in terms of PQ, lack of watermarking, or extra features. You can check the Indian section at Blu-ray.com or zulm.net for reviews. | | | My Home Theater |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks, I would very much prefer a movie catalog software that is linked to imdb as their collections are almost complete, any suggestions ? |
