| Posted: | | | | Hello, I use a Ipod Touch 4 (4.3.2) and everything worked very well during first uses, adding my titles by scanning them. But since yesterday, the application does not want to dash any more. I am forced to renew the operation one about ten times to reach there. Thus I do not understand why suddenly this bug. I deleted the DVD Profiler application (1.1.3) + pic2shop to reinstall them, proceed to a reset of my iPod Touch. First launch OK and the following ones not after creating a new database. The only brought modification is the installation of the other applications such as " system manager ", update of " Video Air" or "360 browser". The problem comes when I leave the appli on the view "collection" because if I leave for example on "database" and I launch the application it is OK. But if I decide to go on "collection" > "owned ", the program closes. Here is I have no PC version because that of my iPod is enough for me. I do not understand why even after abolition(deletion) then reinstalment the problem persists! Thanks for your help
P.S. : I use an online translator, I hope you understand essential |

| Posted: | | | | Hello everybody, What a coincidence!!! I meet the same problem as that quoted higher. My application does not work at the top. Randomly and rarely it dashes correctly on the view "collection" and otherwise it starts on views on which I did not leave! Then well for the moment I test, I scanned only some titles but so it's hellish to reach it every time I do not see the interest. I have more than 300 titles to be added, thus unless an update of the program correcting this bug I shall like to know the procedure for a refund(repayment). Thank you |

Probably because that was your post as well. I don't really understand what your problem is. Something that used to work doesn't work for you now, but I can't figure out what isn't working for you. I would suggest getting the free version of DVDP for PC. Sync your database and perform a database repair with the PC version. Then sync again. A database repair solves many weird problems. |

My problem is simple, the application on my iPod Touch does not work properly. I see that many people have a problem with corrupted database. I would not necessarily spend more with the PC version to repair my database each time. For now, I deleted my application several times on my iPod, reinstall... recreate a new database with a different name, start adding titles with the "Scan" and the problem persists! That is to say that the program does not open too often, if not after several attempts. Is not this supposed to be autonomous application on iOS? Now you tell me to try the free version. Ok but I see it is not really free. This is a trial version. If I have to repair my database each time it's a bit laborious. If the program necessarily requires the equivalent PC this should be stated on the presentation sheet product through the AppStore. So now it does not really solve the problem. The idea being to know why the program does not proceed for what it is designed, knowing that I did not encounter any such problems with other applications

| Posted: | | | | The free version is not a trial version. The paid version offers more features and the opportunity to open a support ticket with Invelos, but the free version offers the basic features for an unlimited time.
Most likely you won't have to do a database repair every time. I don't remember seeing your problem mentioned in the forums before and I certainly haven't encountered a similar problem on both of my iOS devices, so I assume your problem doesn't occur often. The fact that DVDP used to work for you and doesn't work anymore suggests that something might be wrong with your database.
I just realized that you deleted the app and reinstalled it. That means, you had to scan your DVDs again, right ? If you absolutely do not want to use the PC version, you could do that again and scan one item at a time and relaunching the app after each profile. That way you could find out which profile is causing your problem. But really, installing the free desktop program and performing a database repair is probably a lot easier and faster. |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks I'l try first scan one by one item. Anyway I think that this problem is infrequent, but I just did the test on DVD titles and Blu-Ray and that is randomly selected. You will understand that it is little as to play the lottery knowing that I have a relatively important collection. Alternatively I'll try the PC version to repair the database. Otherwise ideally I did not need the PC version. Maybe it would make sense to integrate the "repair database " function on the version for IOS. |
