| Posted: | | | | Hi there,
i am running the latest version on iPhone 4 but having issues on the IOS 4.3.3. The blue bar won't appear when I take a barcode pic to add to my collection... The circle keeps spinning and then just drops back to the main screen. When I reboot iphone it keeps starting in the flowchart of my collection DVD's??
I did a dat backup, so don't know if that could be the issue?
Any thought on the matter |

A backup shouldn't cause any problems. Nor should the iPhone 4/iOS 4.3.3 combination - that works without a problem for me. |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for the answer... Unfortunatly it is still buggin' the hell out of me...
The +500 MB of backup files is to big for DataDesposit and crashes... Also crashes on PKGbackup And the Appbackup app won't work on 4.3.3. |

| Posted: | | | | I assumed you made a backup via iTunes. Maybe your third party backup programs did cause your problem. But I'm not familiar with any of the programs you mentioned. |

| Posted: | | | | Of course, the other problem could be that you have jailbroken the iPhone, which always leads to some stability issues. |

| Posted: | | | | I have about 2'300 films with a database of 650 MB on desktop. I had all on the iphone, changed the iPhone and it restored the backup from iTunes and all was here again, perfect. Though this cannot be the problem. I had the same when I changed from iPad to iPad 2, worked without any problem with restoring the backup to the new device. Both are NOT jailbroken.

I never use iTunes backup because I have many errors on that program. I did it manually and that messed things up I guess...
So do a backup with iTunes, restore the iphone, then start it up by choosing to go back on the last backup, reinstall dvd profiler and then I am good to go?
Note:
I am still completly unable to connect database to my PC application....
Note2:
I now own 1555 dvd's in my iphone app but find it a huge memory dump to have it over 700MB | | | Last edited: by WhyNotCallMeRo |

| Posted: | | | | I never had any problems restoring from a backup either to the same device or to a new device. I don't know if there are any dangers when your iPhone is jailbroken. But I guess you could get around that risk by installing the official iOS first.
Restoring via iTunes is simple. Just plug your iPhone into your PC and choose restore (or whatever that option is called on an English OS). After that just sync the iPhone as you would do normally. |
