| Posted: | | | | Hi there,
I'm a happy user of DVD Profiler (Windows and iOS) but now run into a problem. I've added a few new Blu-Rays to my collection thru my Iphone4/barcode scanner which I do on a regular base. I wanted to update them to my PC but I only can read the database. So connection is okay. I checked under 'update database/options/send changes' if this sliderbutton is on, but it isn't (anymore). It's greyed out and doesn't slide to on. So no way to send my changes. I reset my Iphone to make sure that this couldn't be the problem and indeed the problem persists.
I also have an Ipad, which never sents changes since it only needs to read the database. However I tried to switch the slider on the Ipad to sent changes and that didn's work either. Just don't know if that ever worked since I don't use my Ipad to add discs.
Any suggestions to get it working again would be appreciated.

| Posted: | | | | That sounds weird. Usually the slider is automatically set to "on" when you make changes and locked in the "off" position when there are no new changes.
You could make small changes to your new profiles that haven't been synced, like adding a note to set the slider to "on" again. |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for the input guys. I decided to also reset the computer and then it seemed DVD Profiler had indeed already received the new files from the iPhone. I never saw the "sending" bar in progress, but hey, it worked.
I did not know that the slider on the iPhone defaults to off for "send changes" when there are no new changes, so at least i've learned something today and I'm happy that everything works as it should
