I'm testing the “gallery” feature in DVDP 'evaluation' mode, and read the 'pinned' related “Gallery” thread on the general area, there I found two methods to download the screen-caps created and maintained by DVDP users.

The first method is using the Httrack freeware to download everything, (it took like 18 hrs to download 3.11 GB) and the second method (I like better) using the 'Downloadthemall!” plug-in for Firefox.

When using FF with Httrack's downloaded file, I can't find the 10 full-size images, only the thumbnails, and Downloadthemall can only 'see' and download at once the thumbnails not the actual full size file containing all the screen-caps for that particular movie, 'downloadthemall' can only download one screen-cap at the time by clicking on the movie-file's thumbnail and navigating to each image and downloading from there; I did this with one movie and installed each screencap on that movie's gallery, and the Gallery's slide-show feature works fine..

Can someone explain how to pick, download and install all 10 screen-caps at once using the 'Downloadthemall' method which allows me to just pick and drop the images of movies (owned only) directly on DVDP's movie gallery's folder.  Is this even possible?

Surfeur, I read your complete page, but I must've missed the instruction to register   I sure wasted a lot of time trying to make downloadthemall work..

And as far as the HTtrack's download, I'll be erasing that 3.11 gig file, I didn't like this approach much, it's crazy to download all this images for movies I don't own.

Thanks Surfeur, it works, I'm able to download all screencaps for the chosen movie in a .zip file, unzip it and then cut into the movie DVDP's gallery file.

It makes the program that much better, now I need to get the key and transfer from a different PC the back up of all my collection to start this process, it's going to take a while to do though

You can also put in the zip file the images of all your movies, which is quickier than movie by movie.

I did this, but all the movies caps are listed in the same file and they are not labeled, so I have to Id the 10 bundle by the #s and cut into the Gallery folder.  Unless I'm missing something, this is the only way I was able to bundle many movies in one zip.

Also need to empty the cart at your web page after downloading, other wise the next file downloads them all again (previous) along with the new movie...

Could you please post here the step by step of how you download form your page?  something simple like..

find movie> copy to cart> download cart etc.....

I agree that this system is much less easy to use than downloadthemall, but I'm limited with Piwigo functions. The best for each user is to try several methods and choose the one he prefers.

I'll keep experimenting for the best way to do it, with so many titles I could use any shortcuts I can find..
