| Posted: | | | | I updated my desktop collection by deleting a movie that had the wrong cover image. I then added the correct title -and cover- back to my desktop collection. After updating my online collection with the ONE correct title, my online collection now shows two titles with the same collection number. (the titles are somewhat different - one says 'Collector's Edition' and the other doesn't.) BUT, they both have the same collection number. I'd like to get rid of one of them without uploading my entire (1647 movies) collection. Is there a way? Thanks for any help. Tom |

| Posted: | | | | I get a lot of that happening lately - I don't know why. What I do is do a re-number my collection alphabetically, then do a re-numbering by purchase date (my preferred sorting method) - then upload again, which normally resolves the issue. |

| Posted: | | | | I guess I don't understand, Doombear. My local collection is correct. It's my online collection that has two of the same dvds in it. That is, they both have the same collection number. I can't think of a way to remove the bad entry without uploading my entire collection again. |

| Posted: | | | | In my case the Desktop Profiler looked okay, but the duplicate number was appearing online - there was some corruption which needed to be ironed out, and a re-numbering toggle seemed to do the trick. It's happened to me at least 5 times, usually with the newest discs I've added. By chance, do you also use the iPhone version? My problem seems to have started when I was syncing between desktop, online and iPhone. | | | Last edited: by Doombear |

| Posted: | | | | No, I don't use the iPhone version. If I do the renumbering thing, I'd still have to upload my entire collection again, right? That's what I want to avoid. |

| Posted: | | | | Yes, you'll need to upload the collection again. Does that take a long time for you? Mine's fairly quick. |

| Posted: | | | | After I thought about it for awhile, I realized that I only had to upload my local 'collection.xml' file (minus the duplicate entry, of course) and not all my images. In the past, that's what I did. That's why it took me forever to upload my entire collection. All is well now. Thanks for taking the time to respond. Tom |
