In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

I'm seeing it on Tuesday. Love the Nolan movies so far but hate crowds, so I can wait.

Just got back from seeing a 6 in the morning showing. Bare in mind this is my first viewing so this my initial impressions based on that. First things first it's not The Dark Knight, but that by no means makes it a bad or an average film.

Simply put it is not as well rounded as it's predecessor. This is a problem that maybe could have been solved by cutting about 30 mins off it's run time. Or slowing the pace down at certain points in the film.

Ambitious is the word i use to describe it, but to ambitious. These criticisms only apply though to the first 1hr 45mins. The finale hour.....oh boy just simply masterful cinematically, dramatically it's a pay off worth it's weight in gold and more.

And mainly because of that a great finally and a hard hitting story about cooperate america to boot.

4/5

It's on CNN news right now ("Batman Massacre") where there was a gun shooting at a theater in Colorado showing the film.

14 people dead thus far, and 50 wounded...

Can we keep the lousy politics out of this, please? There is a rule about this on this forum. To complain about a lack of a rule controlling behavior while breaking a rule attempting to control our behavior is in remarkably bad taste.
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.
