| Posted: | | | | I've made 2 databases in my DVDProfiler program, the first for the items I collect and own, the other database I made for the items I'm selling, so just for personal use (no need to put this online). So, about the request, I wanna move some items from the main database to the secondary database because I'm selling them or maybe because I bought the Blu-Ray release, whatever. If you right-click an item you can move it to some other wish-list a.o. or delete them, but what I'm missing is to move or copy this item to another database .... (in my case to the selling database). | | | Equal Rights For Replicants. |

Why not use custom collection feature for this purpose? Custom collections are not shown in online db and you can move items between collections. |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks, but I knew somebody would say that, my reason is that I sell a lot and I tried this, but it came all messy, I can't update or delete every single item (and the main database becomes big and slow) and so I prefered to put them in another separate database, whatever the reason is, there is a possibility to make more databases, so wouldn't it be nice to have some interaction between them ? | | | Equal Rights For Replicants. | | | Last edited: by Replicant2 |

Select File -> Backup Database -> Flagged only
Open the second database
Select File -> Restore Database -> Specific Profiles | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

Select File -> Restore Database -> Specific Profiles This! Be aware however: should there be a profile with the same ID already in the second database, that will be overwritten. So to be on the safe side, make a backup of the second database beforehand. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

| Posted: | | | | Or if you are only looking for 1
Select profile
File --- > Create Profile File
open other DB
open directory of profile file and double click
It will add it to the DB, just like an update from Invelos, with comparison and all
