Any chance of making links instantly clickable? Only site I visit where you have to put in code to do so, and to be perfectly honest, I'm too lazy to do that.

If it's a spam control measure, make it so that only paid members can post links.

It would make things handy, but it shouldn't automatically do it if the URL is already inside the a tags.

I don't see what the problem is.

You just click a single button and it puts all the code in for you. (all you have to do is remember to highlight what you want as the link text).

If you have automatic linking then you lose the capability of shortening links.

No problem... Like I said, sheer laziness. This is the only site I use where links aren't automatically clickable.

I actually prefer it the way it is done here as I think it is much cleaner to have a clickable word instead of a clickable line of 'code'.

This...Credits...is better, than this..http://www.invelos.com/dvdpro/contributions/Rules.aspx?display=credits.  To me, the latter just looks sloppy.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Are you asking how to do this? :

Just enter the word(s) that you want clickable as a link, and highlight those word(s) with your mouse/cursor, and then click on the button to enter the URL.

It'll show up such as: Goooooooooooogle and when clicked go to the Google URL.

Yes you could have, but you wouldn't want to do that. Depending on her age, that is the kind of thing that makes the knowledgeable ones think their parents are idiots or archaic
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

He who MUST get the last word in on a pointless, endless argument doesn't win. It makes him the bigger jerk.

That is exactly why I didn't ask her. I've kept it going through 5 others and I don't want to lose it now.
