Just FYI,

After installing 3.8.2 i selected open application from the last screen of the installer, it started to open, and froze on the splash screen for several minutes before I terminated it. Upon opening the program directly I was prompted with a load database error and had to run db repair. DB repair was unable to start due to it thinking that DVDP was already running. Windows task manager than showed dvdpro.exe still running the background despite manually closing it. After process was ending I was given the option of starting with diagnostic or normal setup. I chose diagnostic with plugins disabled. The program then froze again while apparently "updating database" while attempting to start again. I am now unable to proceed further.

Please Advise.

Thanks.

EDIT: Manually running DB repair, then starting in normal mode, and ignoring prompts to repair again seems to have done the trick... but it's a nasty little loop non the less. Verified that program opens on its own regularly now. Running DB repair one more time to make sure everything is good.

Thank You.

Same thing happening here, how do you repair the database manually?

Upon trying to start the new version the splashscreen shows the option of using the repair option, have trued starting using this option, the utility opens but the progress bars show no progress and it freezes. Have tried opening the program without repair, splashscreen just freezes. Have tried removing all versions of previous Profilers from PC and downloading again, same results, cannot access as progrtam refuses to open, windows giving message,  "program not responding"

Start the repair from the Windows Start menu directly.  If you're still having difficulty after that, please open a support ticket via the Support menu at the top of this page.
