Friend of mine ( whom I trust borrowed a dozen of my James Bond Movies last month ,, and I know I created and saved this info to my data .. which I also back up to my laptop.. and for some strange reason it isn't here today .. but I did locate it ( what I want) on the laptop..

I always back to separate drives as well as cloud  ( inveleos) .. but don't want to do a total restore to PC  .. I only want just the loaned part transferred over..,,, Can I do this on a restore??

I know I can restore individual titles but can I restore a Loaned category?)

and please no ribbing on loaners .....

Here is one idea: First restore the whole database temporarily. Flag the desired subset (e.g. Loaned) and backup flagged.

Then reopen your real database, and restore the backed up subset (individual option) and flag them all. Then they will be added to the existing database.

I hope I understood your question properly.

I just opened up PC #2 with the data .. made a note on what they were.,,  closed it down ,, walked across room to PC #1  and reinstalled the loaned discs ...

didn't want the whole process to be complicated so just re did the data old fashioned way ..... by memory and keystrokes ...

Then I totally misunderstood your issue. I just assumed you had a bunch of personal data you were trying to preserve. Otherwise, as a tip for next time, just remember that you can save a flag set to a thumb drive. Then take it to any other PC and "Add multiple" , using the flag set file (which is just a list of UPCs). Extremely minimal keystrokes involved.
