| Posted: | | | | The collection is intact on DVD Profiler Online -- I just can't get a successful full sync to my Gen 3 iPad. Any ideas, and is anyone else having this problem? |

| Posted: | | | | Tracked this down to a problem with single digit upcs. I put in a fix for the next ios release and in the mean time added a workaround on the server side. The app should no longer crash but profiles with single digit upcs may not display full profile information until the next ios release. You may wish to change these entries to use manual ids or upcs of at least 2 digits. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative | | | Last edited: by Ken Cole |

| Posted: | | | | Actually, still crashing, near the very end of the image uploads. One other question: how can I modify UPC info from within the IOS app (on either iPad or iPhone)? I can't seem to figure out how/where to do this... |

| Posted: | | | | Changing UPCs can be done only with the windows program, which is also the best place to add information to those manually added profiles. You can copy from existing profiles with different UPCs. You don't need to purchase the desktop application to do this, and you can sync over wifi when done.
I'm unable to reproduce the crash at present. Is it reproducable on your end every time? | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | Ken -- Went ahead and deleted the items on the iPhone that had a one-digit UPC. Readded each one (there were only 8 of them) with a 5-digit made-up UPC (00001,00002, etc.). Then tried to upload the updated collection to DVD Profiler Online. It asks "Replace your online collection with your local collection?". I hit "upload". It gets down to "Uploading Profiles" and crashes out each time with "Error uploading collection. Please try again later."
I figure that once I do the successful upload, I should then be able to do a download from the iPad and hopefully not crash out (since I no longer have any 1-digit UPC items). |

| Posted: | | | | No crash on upload -- but it doesn't overwrite the online database. I'm uploading 281 items from the iPhone to overwrite the 289 items on DVD Profiler Online -- but after the upload finishes it still shows as 289 items online. So it's no longer crashing, but I don't think it's actually doing the upload itself... |

| Posted: | | | | Yes - I can now confirm that the upload never takes place. The upload date on the iPhone doesn't update - still reads the default 1/01/01. |

| Posted: | | | | I know changes have been made to the online system in recent days. Have you tried the update recently? |

| Posted: | | | | Just tried. When I do an upload from the iPhone to the online service, it asks me if I want to replace the online collection with the collection on the phone. I say yes, and it then checks off all the upload steps, and doesn't crash -- but nothing is different on the online site, in terms of content. And the "last upload" date on the phone still reads the default 1/01/01. So I don't believe the upload is doing anything. |

| Posted: | | | | The last uploaded date issue has been resolved. Please try again and let us know the exact results (did any counts change, what is the current discrepancy for each collection type). | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | Last upload date is now fixed -- excellent. But there is still no actual upload taking place. 281 items on the phone, 289 on the online site -- after upload, there should be 281 overwritten items on the online site, but there are still 289... |

| Posted: | | | | Try uploading a blank collection then uploading your collection again. You can create a new blank collection via the Databases tab. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | And I'm not using the desktop SW, by the way -- just using the iphone and DVD Profiler Online. |
