| Posted: | | | | Surprised not to see this one... Forgive me if I missed this already in the forum. After about 6 or 7 entries added via the barcode scanner (with gaps between scans even), the app slows tremendously - maybe 10-20 seconds after pressing 'Scan barcode' will the scanner activate. The next attempt will cause the app to apparently hang (actually timed it - 3 minutes!) before I can scan again. Fed up waiting, I close the app (still in memory of course), restart it, get a DVD profiler screen for a few seconds and the app crashes. Start it again and the app is fine... for another 6 or 7 scans before I have to repeat the process. IOS 7. IPhone 5 64GB and iPad 4 64GB showing identical symptoms. |

| Posted: | | | | Just changed to Pic2shop scanner and the problem goes away. So this 'feature' is in the inbuilt barcode scanner which looks already to be flagged. It would have been helpful if, when I bought the app yesterday, that could have been noted as a problem with the workaround. Unimpressed given the price of this app... |

| Posted: | | | | I have just purchased DVD Profiler and are having the same problem, after a couple of scans the app seems to freeze when pressing the scan button to input the next DVD. Close and restart and it works fine until a couple of DVDs have been scanned and then freezes again. |

| Posted: | | | | I just purchased and installed DVD Profiler, version 2.0.2, on my iPad Air with 128 GB and running iOS 7.0.4. The program freezes (with no other programs running) when I select "Add to Collections" then select "Add by UPC" and then select "Scan Barcode" about 3 to 6 times to add multiple movies to my local database. I've rated it "two stars" in the Apple Store. |

I wouldn't have found it by myself, and probably would have dumped DVD Profiler completely as unusable. With the third-party scanner, adding movies with the iOS app is at least viable (although still a bit clumsy). |
