| Posted: | | | | Hi,
I'm trying since some days to update my database from my iPhone 5 (first release) on my LAN computer via WiFi, under Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows 8 Pro, with DVD Profiler 3.8.2, but since I'm under iOS7 I can't done the process ... Each time I got error on the desktop version "Access Violation ...", connection is initiated, and working, seeing it on the iPhone and on the Desktop, but when it start to update the profile (sending changes) it no longer works ...
The desktop version freeze, and iPhone version still on "sending changes" and after some seconds (15/20) I got error message "Unable to connect. Please ensure that .... Retry connection ?".
Another thing since iOS7, when I'm trying to scan EAN into iOS app, after 5 or 6 dvds (randomly) app still frozen, need to be killed and relaunched to been able to add new media via scan function ...
Do you think you can fix all this problems ? Is there already know compatibility bugs ?
Is DVD Profiler going to be no longer updated ? Since 11/2012 no news from desktop version, I'm customer (prenium) and even need to know if I can use DVD Profiler for ever or if I must switch to another program ... ?
Thanks in advance.
P-S : Sorry for my bad english, I'm french !
Best regards, Alex. |

| Posted: | | | | There's another thread that asked about iOS 7 compatability, the response from Invelos (Ken Cole) and the experience of others is that Profiler works with that version with no issues. Thread linkThis suggests there's some other problem you're encountering, what trouble shooting have you done? | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | Ok, I've give some try with different iPhone, all wok under iOS 6 and no one (4) are working with DVD Profiler on iOS7. After several delette/install of DVD Profiler for iOS, sudently it work again on two iPhone 5, not the 2 other ATM ! It seem to have a bug with iOS updating process, maybe a corruption of file or something like this. About the process for adding a media via EAN and the scan function, I can't say something ATM because I don't have any new DVD to scan ... Thanks for your time, sometime 4 try isn't enough for iOS Best regards, Alex. |

| Posted: | | | | Hmm that does sound odd, I don't think you should have to unintsall and reinstall profiler to get it to work. It might be messing up a setting somewhere that gets 'fixed' when you reinstall profiler I suppose. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | Hello...DVD Profiler works fine on my iPhone 4S, iPad 4 and iPod Touch 4. I run the latest IOS on all my devices. I sync them all by uploading or downloading which is the easiest for me. |
