| Posted: | | | | As I can (now) see in the forums this is an ongoing issue. The app suggested to fix it is not available for free, as is suggested (in the forum). For a paid, and well reviewed DVD cataloging program app, not being bake to scan in new media, and not being able to directly contact anyone for tech support is really disappointing. Although I rarely rate apps, I plan to rate this one, and poorly. |

| Posted: | | | | Hello I just installed the app to my ipad 4 running ios 7.0.4. I love this app and all the great features. The only complaint so far is the app freezing after a few scans and the scanner having a difficult time every once in a while. I still gave the app 4 stars as it's still a fantastic feature enriched app.
I look forward to future updates. I have been a long time standing user of the pro version of you PC version. |

| Posted: | | | | I just purchased and installed DVD Profiler, version 2.0.2, on my iPad Air with 128 GB and running iOS 7.0.4. The program freezes (with no other programs running) when I select "Add to Collections" then select "Add by UPC" and then select "Scan Barcode" about 3 to 6 times to add multiple movies to my local database. I just rated the app with two stars. I'll update my review if a fix shows up in the Apple Store soon. |

| Posted: | | | | I also bought DVD Profiler 2.0.2, and also running IOS 7.0.4. Mine also freezes after 4 sequential scans; the 5th takes about 4 minutes and eventually crashes the app. I only have been able to scan about 200. At this rate it will take a long, long time to completely scan my entire collection. Also, being the most expensive App of this kind, I expected to have the ability to use additional fields, like ' location' - not where it was filmed, but where I keep the DVD's (living room, granddaughter's room, office, etc.). I have not found a way to track copies (qty) of the same movie - I have a found that I own multiple copies of some movies. Other less expensive apps seem to have more flexibility in the way I scan and store. |
