| Posted: | | | | In the list of retailers I have approximately 45, and maybe only a dozen of them still exists. It's a bit annoying that I have to see all 45 when I want to select a retailer from the dropdown list. Since I can't delete them ("The retailer is assigned to DVDs and cannot be deleted"), it would be nice if I could at least flag them as defunct, so they don't show up. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. | Posted: | | | | I like your idea. I would still rather be able to remove them so I don't have to see them at all but leave them attached to the DVD's I bought there. |

| Posted: | | | | Good idea indeed. Workarounds until then: 1) rename them with "zz " at the beginning. That way at least they show up at the bottom of the list, worked for ZZ Top quite well. 2) You could delete the retailers from the profiles using BulkEdit. But I would hate to lose such data. | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

You don't do that very often, do you? | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

When adding a new DVD or Bluray, they appear in the retailer drop down, so I see them every time I add a film. |

When adding a new DVD or Bluray, they appear in the retailer drop down, so I see them every time I add a film. That Is what he is talking about.... so you'd mark them inactive in the EDIT RETAILERS menu, but when adding new titles you'd only see the active ones. | | | HDTV: 52" Toshiba Regza 52XV545U AVR: Onkyo TR-707 Speakers: Paradigm Monitor 7 v6, CC-190 & Atom Monitors Subwoofer: Definitive Technology ProSub 800 BD/DVD: Oppo BDP-93 (Region Free) HD PVR: Motorola DXC3400 500GB w/ 1TB Expander BD/DVD/Game: 250GB PS3 Slim DVD/Game: 250GB XBox 360 Elite Special Edition (Black) Game: Wii Remote: Logitech Harmony One w/ PS3 Adapter WHS: Acer H341 Windows Home Server |

If you just start typing the first few letters of the retailer name you probably won't even have to look at the drop down list. --------------- |
