| Posted: | | | | I would appreciate it when there was an extra option by the 'subtitles' to select if the subtitles are fixed / permanent on screen. One extra selection 'fixed subs' or so, besides the current selectable languages, would do !

| Posted: | | | | On German DVDs when subtitles are enforced they are only enforced when the original language is selected. When you watch the movie dubbed you can turn off the subtitles. In those cases a simple checkmark would not help. |

Maybe a checkbox "forced subs for original language" would be more appropriate. |

| Posted: | | | | A good solution would be some kind of color-code i think, like red - burnt-in ( ) orange - forced (thank god that some players can remove these) blue - or the deaf and hard of hearing purple - commentary black - normal also the color-code use wouldn't take extra space in the layout, only a litte overhaul in edit-dialog | | | Last edited: by SpaceFreakMicha |

| Posted: | | | | Nice thought..... if you're not color-blind, that is No seriously, I like that approach even better than a check-box, and it has the possibility for future expansion (there's more than 5 colors, you know? ) | | | Lutz | | | Last edited: by Darxon |

It was pretty random... bvut maybe we could use this stuff do to a psycho-test. On topic: Another possibility wound be to just append the attribute of the subtitle, like: Czech (forced), german (commentary) etc. |
