| Posted: | | | | I can see my contributions but not other users contributions in the database/contributions/all pending updates. Then when I do a 'refresh updated profiles' there will be a changes to movie profiles that I have not seen or had the opportunity to vote on. I have done the upload a blank online list then reload the true list, but do I have to keep doing this all the time? |

| Posted: | | | | Yep, definitely something strange is going on... Was it 3.9.0 that broke it? I don't know but I'm seeing the same thing. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | I just opened a support ticket for this... with well over 7,000 profiles in my collection this is something I NEVER see! So I just do not believe there isn't any contributions for anything I own. Even if only birth year and common names. Should be seeing a bunch. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Response from Invelos... Quote: There are no pending contributions for any profile in your collection. This is not an error, processing is just completely up to date. I find this extremely surprising and highly unlikely... going by even recent past experience... but so be it. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I have about 6'500 profiles, mostly German profiles. And I have every day between 5 to 20 updates from BY's, Common Names, new opened profiles and others. A day without one change I can't remember, so it is really strange in your case. | | | * 3D TV Panasonic TX-P65VT30J + Blu-ray Player Panasonic DMP-BDT500 My Filmcollection online: www.filmkino.ch * |

| Posted: | | | | Unlikely though it may be, it is accurate. We've actually had a significant uptick in contributions since 3.9 (about 40% more than usual in the last 30 days), but the focus has been on certain classes of profiles affected by the new variant ability.
In addition to this, we've focused on keeping contribution processing completely up to date, so nothing is in queue much longer than 48 hours. We're doing this to reduce collision potentials in variants. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | Such a short time to vote don't sounds like a good thing to me at all. Means not as many people will get the chance to vote and will let more and more errors into the database. I am actually right disappointed to read this. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | My memory is 48 hours was what most of use thought reasonable when voting was introduced, the site is accessible 24/7 for people to vote so it doesn't seem at all unreasonable. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | It has always been 48 hours (at least, as long as I can remember). If there's a consensus to increase it, I have no problem with doing so. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative | | | Last edited: by Ken Cole |

| Posted: | | | | Well if it was what was planned it seldomly worked out that way... as I know most things I seen were up for vote (my own contributions and others) were up 5 to 7 days. Which I personally thought as fair since it gave everyone a good chance to vote. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | It's not about planning, it's how the system works. When evaluators log in and do work, the queue allows them to proceed in chronological order, and only stops when the 48-hour window is met. The evaluators are not always 100% up to date, so it fluctuates between 2-7 days, and sometimes more than that. Since 3.9, we've focused on keeping it up to date, which is why you've seen a smaller queue recently. However, it was not at all uncommon to clear the queue before, just intermittent.
If you'd like to see the minimum vote time increased from 48 hours to something longer, you may wish to start a poll and see what others think. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |
