| Posted: | | | | Out of the blue Profiler seems not to want to start up. Everytime it states that certain files cannot be found. If I search by hand the files are rightly located. Even the repairutility doesn't work anymore even not from Windows-start. Trying to make a new installation gives the same problems. I have a database for more than 3000 titles. I am not very happy about this. Can anyone help me? |

| Posted: | | | | Sorry. Yes I've tried all mentioned options. Repair utility ebem from the Start option. Even tried to de-install the program with Revo and re-install. But even after this Profiler says that some files are missing. If I check the given file is where it is supposed to be. I do have a faitly recent back-up file, but if it won't let me install, what is left.............. |

Then you copy all the "DVD Profiler" folder (in My Documents) on this other computer, and paste over the old one in your computer that doesn't work. Another solution. Rename the "DVD Profiler" folder as "DVD Profilerback". Reinstall the program, which will propose a new collection, and you'll use your backup file. If it works, you can delete the renamed folder. | | | Images from movies | | | Last edited: by surfeur51 |

| Posted: | | | | ..... and to add to that: if you are (re)installing, do so without plugins, even the default ones! |
