With the latest stable version of ChromeOS 53.0.2785.129 there is a new option to Enable Google Play Store that allows a large number of Android apps to run on a chromebook.
With that I was able to install DVD Profiler and sync my collection to my chromebook. So far I have only found one thing that's not working right, the side menu (All, Owned, Ordered... Settings) will not work with touch, but the arrow keys on the keyboard work for that and the esc key closes the menu.
So I can now use it on my Chromebook. Cool
