01/10/2018 - Star Wars: The last Jedi (3D): Saw this in a local Regal Theater. What a disgrace to this fine movie for a theater to have such a poorly adjusted 3D projector. Picture was very dim. Sound was Ok, but my Home Theater sound is equal or better; picture is way better.
01/26/2018 - The Commuter: Ok, Liam Neeson. That's it.
02/11/2018 - The Shape Of Water: Poor attempt at another version of an age-old fairly tale existing in all cultures.
02/16/2018 - Black Panther: Stupendous! Be careful not to leave too early. Stay until the very end. Black Panther has both a mid-credit scene and a post-credit scene. (new wording thanks to Eagle)
03/24/2018 - Pacific Rim: Uprising: Well if you saw the first one and liked it, this is a "no brainer." Tian Jing (The Great Wall) steals the show for me. What a stunner.
06/28/2018 - Incredibles 2: Took the grandkids. They found some sections a bit scary and the flashing lights annoying. I personally did not care for it, although I am a fan of the original.
12/24/2018 - Mary Poppins Returns: Took the grandkids. Overall they liked it. Ages 5 and 8. But it was long and slow moving in some places. As for me, Emily Blunt. What more needs to be said.
(Low movie count this year partially due to finances. Can't afford to buy a 4K disc, streaming services subscriptions and also the movie tickets. The total is too much.) | | | Thanks for your support.
