| Posted: | | | | Hello,
until December 2018 I had no problems with the DVD Profiler. Since four weeks I can't add new movies. Everytime when I start the connection to the Online Profillist there is the message "Out of Memory". I have tried everything: I repaired my backup file, add more memory (now 26GB) - nothing!
The backup file is 35MB. Movie entries are roundabout 31.000.
Can anyone help me? |

| Posted: | | | | Off the top of my head a couple things that might cause this:
1. A bad memory chip. 2. Not enough hard disk space for the page file to work in. 3. A background process that taking way to much memory. 4. I say this lightly, but you may have a virus. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

| Posted: | | | | Have you tried uninstalling + reinstalling (and then restore a backup database file) the Profiler program itself?
Something could have become corrupted somewhere with the program files that a database repair just wouldn't help with. | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | I posted in response to another similar query last year. I was getting the "Out of memory" errors (and similar) when editing profiles. Tried everything, and then it stopped happening when I loaded a different layout - traced the problem to having the "Discs" (or Disc Info) panel/window visible on my main layout page. Sounds ridiculous I know, but maybe worth a try... |
