| Posted: | | | | Upgraded a Blu-ray to a 4K and want to update my collection. I am attempting to remove the disc from my collection, but the software just freezes, crashes and shuts itself down every time. This is the only item in my collection this is happening on.
Specifically, it's X-Men: Days Of Future Past UPC Code 024543-962700 and the child Disc ID CF0B-162B-7D7C-2764
Any suggestions on how to get these items out of my collection if the software won't let you? |

| Posted: | | | | No luck I don't know if this is part of the problem, but I have noticed that one of the discs in this collection, the Disc ID listed above, is listed as the parent to the collection itself. That's not usually the way this should work and no idea if it's just coincidence or not that this is the only one like this and also the only one that I can't remove. |

| Posted: | | | | You can also try the following: Mark all profiles (CTRL-A) and then unmark the profile in question (space bar).
Now run a backup via the File menu. Now create a new empty database via the File -> Databases menu.
Restore the backup there.
I know it's the nuclear option, but if nothing else helps I would not trust the existing database anymore. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | That worked. One of the 2 items in that set remained despite definitely not selecting it, but without the other there, it actually let me remove that other one on the restored database. |
